Which stores take Venmo as a payment method? Here is a complete list

Cashless and contactless payment methods have become exceptionally popular, especially due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Whether you’re looking for a simple transaction method to split bills, make purchases, or just keep track of your finances, there are plenty of apps that will get the job done.

One of the most popular payment sharing apps is Venmo, especially when it comes to sending money to friends to split a bill or pay off any debt. All you have to do is link your bank, debit, or credit card account. Note, however, that there is a 3% fee for sending money with a linked credit card. You can also trade some cryptocurrencies.

What many don’t know, however, is that it is also becoming increasingly popular for retailers to accept a Venmo transaction as a form of payment. For in-store purchases, simply scan your Venmo QR code at checkout to pay contactless.

Creating a Venmo account is free, which you can do here.

If you prefer a real card over an app, you can apply for a Venmo credit card via Visa or a debit card via Master Card on the app. You can track all shopping activity through the app.
