But regardless, there’s still good news coming out of the program for the automaker, as it revealed that Tesla appears to have a huge advantage in the cost of rolling out new fast-charging stations.
Companies could not charge more than 70% of the cost of chargers up to $150,000 per charger, and Forbes reports that Tesla was only asking about $30,000 per charger compared to $150,000 for most applicants:
