Smithtown Police blotter: Stolen credit card used in stores

The Suffolk County Police Department released the following information. All charges are charges and do not imply guilt.

  • January 27: A burglary (third degree) was reported on Smithtown Boulevard in Nesconset at 12:40 a.m. Someone entered the Borella Wholesale nursery through an unlocked door and stole cash from a drawer, announced the police.
  • January 25: A robbery (fourth degree) was reported at Alpine Court in Smithtown from January 24 at 12:01 a.m. A credit card was stolen and used at multiple businesses, police said.
