A WOMAN has revealed that Santa Claus only brings small gifts for her children because she doesn’t want him to get credit for the bigger gifts on Christmas Day.

Mum SJ shared a video explaining that Santa Claus only brings small gifts, like candy and bath bombs from the pound, to her children.

She said, “I just went to the pound to buy pieces for the children’s socks. I say low, I always just make them a gift bag.

“This is what Santa Claus brings because he doesn’t get the credit for big gifts.”

She gave her children treats like books, bath bombs, and candy at stores including her local book store and Tesco.

The clip quickly racked up 137,000 likes and the opinions were mixed in the comments.

Some believed that the mother’s approach was quite correct and that parents should be given credit for the big gifts on Christmas Day.

“Let’s normalize not letting Santa Claus earn the biggest presets. Always said that about the stockings too, ”said one parent.

Another wrote: “It’s actually a good idea not to let Santa take the credit for the big presents, my daughter kicked it off once so I said ‘okay , I’m taking your presents’ and she said ‘you didn’t get them, Santa Claus did’.

Others liked the idea for a different reason.

“Santa’s gift bag is a great idea. It keeps less fortunate children from feeling bad when others brag about what Santa has brought, ”one viewer wrote.

Another agreed: “So many poor children don’t feel well enough that Santa Claus didn’t give them what their friends got, that should be tradition.

Others, however, couldn’t get the idea.

One of them wrote, “Why don’t you let Santa take the credit for it, obviously they’ll end up knowing you bought them.” Do not understand.

Meanwhile, I’m a strict parent and people don’t understand my rules – I don’t allow sleepovers and if they don’t eat my food, they don’t eat.

In addition, we sold our house to travel in a trailer with our three daughters – we “take the children out of school” and let them learn whatever they want.

Plus, this angry mom’s Elf on the Shelf exhibit has gone horribly wrong – and left other parents in hysteria.
