Craft Beer, Beer Cheese, Live Music at Upcoming Benefit For the Love of Blackhorse Workers
CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – When the Blackhorse Pub & Brewery closed after a fire in March, around 100 cooks, waiters and brewers suddenly found themselves without jobs or income.
There were several efforts to help them financially until the Pub reopens, and a big one is to come: the Pour l’Amour.
The July 17 event at the Downtown Commons will feature live music from Chris Robertson & The Country Music Band, as well as the Southern Pride Band.
Participants can enjoy music while sipping on a craft beer and munching on Blackhorse’s ever popular beer cheese. There will also be food from Burgasm, Gray Smoke BBQ, Firelime Offshore Grill and Snowie Shaved Ice.
All proceeds will go to the Blackhorse Employee Relief Fund, which helps get staff back on their feet.
“While we are rebuilding we want to show them the love they deserve and have the chance to see you all again,” Blackhorse management said on the event page.
Pour the Love takes place on Saturday, July 17 from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Downtown Commons. Tickets cost $ 5 and can be purchased at the event or on Eventbrite. To find out more, follow the event’s Facebook page.
Bring your blankets and chairs. Must be 21 or over to drink.
