Paris Fashion Week FW26: Must-See Shows, Designer Debuts & Off-Schedule Events (2026)

Get ready for an exciting Paris Fashion Week, Fall/Winter 2026! While it may seem like a quieter season compared to the groundbreaking Spring 2026, there's still plenty to anticipate and talk about.

The French Fashion Revolution: A New Era?

One of the most anticipated events is the debut of Antonin Tron at the iconic Balmain. As the founder of Atlein, Tron will present his first collection for the heritage brand on March 4th. The industry is buzzing with anticipation, wondering if Tron's collection will mark a departure from the bold and intricate aesthetic that defined Olivier Rousteing's 14-year legacy at the house.

But here's where it gets controversial... Will Tron's vision align with the expectations of fashion enthusiasts and critics alike?

Another highlight is Pieter Mulier's final show at Alaïa before taking on the role of Chief Creative Officer at Versace in July. Mulier's successor at Alaïa remains a mystery, adding to the intrigue.

And this is the part most people miss... Paris Fashion Week FW26 will feature a total of 67 ready-to-wear shows and 31 presentations, a slight decrease from the previous season.

Sophomore Outings: Second Chances and New Beginnings

Several designers are returning for their sophomore outings, including Jonathan Anderson at Dior, Mark Thomas at Carven, and Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez at Loewe. Miguel Castro Freitas at Mugler, Pierpaolo Piccioli at Balenciaga, Duran Lantink at Jean Paul Gaultier, and Matthieu Blazy at Chanel are also set to showcase their latest collections.

Chanel, which was the most-viewed show on Vogue Runway for SS26, will aim to defend its position and set the trend for the upcoming season.

The Official Calendar: A Mix of Established Brands and Fresh Faces

The week kicks off with the traditional Institut Français de la Mode (IFM) show, showcasing the graduating MA class's final fashion design projects. Other notable shows include Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Celine, Courrèges, Tom Ford, Dries Van Noten, Lacoste, Louis Vuitton, Victoria Beckham, Hermès, McQueen, Gabriela Hearst, and Miu Miu.

Tiffany Hsu, Chief Buying Officer at Mytheresa, shares her excitement: "I'm looking forward to Saint Laurent, Alaïa, and Chanel. Anthony Vaccarello always brings something unique to Saint Laurent, and Pieter Mulier's farewell show at Alaïa promises to be special. Matthieu Blazy at Chanel has been inspiring so far, and I can't wait to see what he has in store for this PFW."

Off-White, after a show in New York last season, returns to the Paris calendar on March 5th. Ukrainian label Litkovska and Georgian brand Situationist make their official show calendar debuts, while Co, Eenk, and Time will present their first on-schedule collections.

Going Off-Schedule: The Unplanned Excitement

Fashion consultant Julie Gilhart emphasizes the off-schedule events that add an extra layer of excitement to Paris Fashion Week: "There are so many presentations, events, and parties that you discover once you're there. It's like an energized week on top of an already energized week. Someone should create an off-schedule schedule!"

Among the must-attend off-calendar events is Paul Billot's first show for his eponymous label on March 2nd at 9:30 pm. Billot, who previously worked at Maison Margiela's Artisanal line under John Galliano, has designed his collection using AI.

Fidan Novruzova, an Azeri designer and Central Saint Martins alum, will host a presentation on March 4th. Novruzova launched her namesake label in October 2020 and was announced as an LVMH Prize semi-finalist four years later.

Georg Lux will present his first collection for his eponymous brand on March 7th. The German designer exited French fashion house Leonard last December after leading its design for four years.

Events Beyond the Runway

Off the runway, the Vogue Business event will explore how luxury brand leaders are shaping cultural engagement. The Louvre will host a fundraising dinner to support its activities, with a new director, Christophe Leribault, taking the helm following the resignation of Laurence des Cars.

The LVMH Prize semi-finalists will present their works to a committee of industry experts, including Adrian Joffe, Linda Fargo, and Pat McGrath, who will select eight finalists. The public can also vote on the LVMH Prize website.

From March 4th to 29th, you can visit the 10th-anniversary exhibition "Monsters by Monsters: Now and Then," showcasing Pop Mart's The Monsters toy series and its Labubu character.

Last but not least, Vogue will bring its successful Vogue Café concept to Paris, offering coffee and juices from March 4th to 7th at 8 Rue de Castiglione.
