Monday, November 5th - at 6:00pm - T.O. Library - Photo Group Meeting

Preliminary information, subject to change.

We will start the meeting as usual with some Photo Group Announcements, upcoming workshops, field trips, etc..

Debbie Williams will talk about Photographing Wildlife.

Nancy Lehrer will present inspirational ideas for December's Digital Composition Challenge - the Composition Theme for December will be "Using Movement".

After the break, our Judge - David Saffir will be judging the Print Entries and offering critique for those who also submitted a digital entry. Members may enter a total of two pictures in either the Open or Assigned Topic categories. The Assigned Topic for November is "Abstract".

Assigned topic entries must have been taken after the topic was announced at the prior Print Contest club meeting, and may have limited Photoshopping (no composites or digital art).
The Open Category of the Print Contest has no limits on date, topic, or Photoshopping (digital art is welcome).


For a professional critique of your print entry, email a digital file of your prints by 6pm two days before the meeting, to PhotoEntries@topcc.org. Please indicate which picture is your primary and which is your secondary entry for critiquing by adding a number 1 or 2 after your name. Read the Print contest rules. Also see the article on how to resize and rename your digital projected images for the Print Contest and see last month's Print Contest Winners.

Note: Ribbon winning pictures will be posted on our website IF they are emailed by 6pm two days before the club meeting.

Monday, December 3rd - at 6:00pm - T.O. Library - Photo Group Meeting

We will start the meeting as usual with some Photo Group Announcements, upcoming workshops, field trips, etc..


Taking over both Presentation slots, Patricia and Sam Gardner will present "Artistic Vision in Photography".

After the break, our Judge, Carmelita Miranda, will preside over the Digital Composition Challenge. The subject will be "Movement".


Members may share up to two of their best pictures for this Digital Composition Challenge. This is your chance to have your pictures professionally evaluated to learn what makes them great, or how to do it better next time!

Members should email 1 or 2 digital entries for the Digital Challenge by 6pm two days before the meeting to PhotoEntries@topcc.org Please name your files by adding a 1 or 2 after your name to indicate your preferred image for critiquing.
