Club Meetings
Dates & Times:
The Thousand Oaks Personal Computer Club meets on the follow days:
- General Meeting: The 4th Thursday of every month except November and December. These two months we meet the third Thursday. 6:00 p.m. - 8:45 p.m., Goebel Senior Center.
- Photo Group: The 1st Monday of every month. If the 1st Monday is a holiday, it may be rescheduled. 6:00 p.m. - 8:45 p.m., Thousand Oaks Library.
- Video Group: The 3rd Monday of every month. 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Goebel Senior Center.
Please note that even though we hold meetings at the Senior Center, the TOPCC is open to all ages!
In addition to a general meeting, a Photo Group meeting, and a Video Makers meeting, there are Steering Committee Meetings for both the general TOPCC and the Photo Group. See below for more information.

General Meeting Format:
The General Meeting has the following format:
6:00 - 6:30 p.m. Beginners Q & A
6:30 - 7:00 p.m. Intermediate Q & A
7:00 - 7:15 p.m. General Club Business
7:15 - 8:45 p.m. Main Program

Directions:
Traveling east or west on the 101 freeway, take the 23 freeway north. Exit at the first exit (Janss Road), and turn right. You will see a driveway about 50 yards away on the left. Enter this driveway and turn right. The Goebel Senior Center is the second building on your left. The Thousand Oaks Library is the third building on your left.
If traveling south on the 23 freeway (from Moorpark, Simi Valley, etc.) exit at Janss Road. Turn left (under the freeway) and proceed as above.
Meeting Rooms:
At the Goebel Center, the General Meeting is held in the main auditorium. Enter the main door and turn immediately left. The Video Group and Steering Committee meetings are held in one of the conference rooms depending on availability.
The Photo Group meets at the library. Enter the library and immediately turn left down the hallway. There should be a sign indicating the room we are meeting in.
Meeting Attendance:
Guests are welcome to attend up to two General Meetings without paying dues. Please see the dues page for information about becoming a member.
Full, dues-paying members are eligible to attend General Meetings, and any of the SIGs including the Photo Group and Video Group meetings. Full members may also attend any workshops, picnics, and field trips put on by the club.
Guests may attend the Photo Group and/or Video Group meetings, however there is a $3.00 charge if you are not a TOPCC member.
Applications are available at any of the meetings and you can become a member at the meeting.
Steering Committee Meetings (Board Meetings):
There are two steering committee meetings a month.

A TOPCC steering committee meeting is held on the Tuesday, 2-1/2 weeks before the TOPCC general meeting.

A Photo Group steering committee meeting is held on the third Tuesday of the month.
Both meetings are held at the Goebel Center in whatever conference room is available. The meetings are open to any member who wants to attend. At these meetings, we go over the minutes of the last meeting, discuss upcoming presentations, and attend to club business.
