DuesCash Door Prize Rules

At the March 6, 2001 Steering Committee Meeting, we voted to try something new -- a cash door prize drawing. We agreed to try it for 6 months and see how it goes. We'll announce it at the March 22nd meeting and start it at our April 26th meeting.

  1. You must be a paid member. You can be up to 2 months overdue on paying your dues, but after that you are dropped from the list.
  2. You must be present to win. You must also be sure and check off your name on the Membership Sign-In Sheet. (If you don't check it off and you're here, then you don't win!)
  3. If a new member signs up and pays at a meeting, remember to add his/her name to the end of the TOPCC Membership Sign-In sheet.
  4. MoneyOn the first night of the drawing, the drawing is for $5. If no one wins, then the next month it's $10 and so on.
  5. When someone wins, the next month it drops back down to $5.
  6. If the pot keeps building up with no one winning, then in December, we keep drawing numbers until someone wins.
  7. On the Membership Sign-In Sheet, all members are numbered.
  8. The bag of numbers contains the numbers 1 through 99. We draw up to 3 numbers. (Note: If we draw a number above the highest numbered member, then we draw another one instead.)
  9. We look up the number on the Membership Sign-In Sheet. If the first number is present, then we don't draw any more numbers. If none of the three are present, then the $5 prize is added to the following month.
  10. The drawing is held either just before or just after the main vendor presentation.
