Understanding Color (in PDF format) - by John C. Lee, 12/3/2001. This is a very comprehensive article with lots of great examples in color. It includes such topics as "Additive vs. Subtractive Color Model", "Color Depth", various color models, and brightness, contrast, hue, and saturation. You'll need Adobe Reader to view the article.
